The Smell of Lysol...

and a cool breeze is blowing through our house! Yes, Benjamin got the stomach bug around 5pm last night. Poor guy, he was throwing up until 10pm. I must say that I DO NOT have a stomach for that. The sound of Niagara Falls coming out of his mouth (sorry for the visual!) made me run myself to dry heave. I am so not cut out for throwing up. It certainly gave Brent a good laugh! Benjamin is currently sleeping on the couch. He is still not feeling well. He started this afternoon with a low grade fever, continues to feel very tired, and doesn't want to eat. Here's to hoping the Lysol and airing out the house prevents Brent and I from getting sick! Hope Benjamin is feeling better soon too!

"Official April Adoption Update"

Well as we were seeing, it is official China has matched families with an LID through January 9, 2006. Bethany Christian Services has updated their blog with this info. This was 5 days of matching since last month. Just a reminder our LID is January 24, 2006. So what does this mean for us? We continue to wait. It's looking more and more like a June referral for us, maybe July depending on how many days they review this month. We'll update again in May when the new numbers come out. Thanks everyone for your prayers on behalf of our family!

Disappointing week...

I wanted to post an update as many of you have been asking this week if we've heard anything yet for our adoption. The answer is yes and no. Early rumors are being posted for the April adoption numbers. According to a rumor board I read it states that China has matched families through January 9, 2006. If you recall last month was January 4, 2006. That was only 5 days! We had some very high hopes for a big month! While nothing has been officially posted by our agency it's looking more and more like it will be the 9th. We'll give an update once we have the "official word".
