Who's Having More Fun?

It looks like uncle Brent is having just as much fun as the cousins! This past weekend we went to the cabin with my family. Brent, Benjamin, my parents, and I went snowmobiling on Saturday. We rode 86 miles. It was a beautiful day. Sunday we all went over to ski saw mill and went tubing. We had a blast! The pic above is of the "kids" watching a Looney Tunes video. They crack up everytime they see it.

Finally!

Finally Some Snow!!!
Can you tell that we are just a little excited here! We finally got some snow, funny how 2.5 inches can get you all excited! The schools here are closed today. They are calling for more ice this afternoon and evening. Unfortunately it started to rain a little now. That hasn't stopped Benjamin! He was so happy to be able to use his sled from Grandpa & Grandma. It's been perfect sledding, because there is a little crust of ice on top of the snow.
We are all packed up and are heading to the mountains this weekend. They were to get 6-8 inches. My brother and his family along with my parents are heading for the hills. Crazy fun times. I'm sure we'll have pics to post once we get home.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Happy Chinese New Year!
Well, it's been a very long time since our blog has been updated! Not much has happened in the last month. Brent and I had a nasty virus that lasted about 2 weeks. Not fun at all. Thankfully Benjamin has stayed healthly! We painted our kitchen. I'll post those pics later this week. Benjamin is doing well in school and enjoying it. He is really hoping for some snow, something we haven't seen much of here!
Adoption update--China has matched families with LID (log in date) through December 27,2005. Remember we are January 24, 2006. If they would keep on the same pace they have been we could see a referral in June, however we are praying for one sooner. Our prayer is that we receive our referral and can be home before the Olympics. They begin on August 8th in Beijing, China. We would appreciate your prayers for this as well!
Chinese New Year--This began on February 7th. It is a 15 day celebration. If you get a chance check out the website http://www.infoplease.com/spot/chinesenewyear1.html
It has some fun facts and info on the Chinese New Year. There are a lot of traditions, feasts, and time with family to celebrate. We celebrated so far by going out as a family for a Chinese dinner. We are looking forward to a celebration with my family (unfortunately my family was sick this past Friday night so we are rescheduling) sometime soon.
Thanks again for all your support and prayers as we continue to wait on God's timing for our daughter! We can't wait for the day when we can meet her as well as many of you!
