Computer is kind of up and running...I'm only up and walking

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I was able to post. We finally have our computer back. Yeah!!! Only problem is I'm having problems updating our blog and doing some other things on it as well. It locks up in the middle and puts an error message at the bottom of the page. Who knows!!! Someday! I have some pictures to post of Benjamin from the past few weeks--cool snow fort from this past weekend, winning the Pine Car Derby at church, Benjamin's braces, and mountain pictures too. They'll all have to wait.

Some of you might be saying she is only up and walking!?! Well, it seems as if my appendectomy from this past October just won't leave me alone! I was in to see my family doctor in Feb (having another adoption physical so paperwork could be redone) and asked about this bulge at my right side where my incision was. He said I should see my surgeon. Well, I did and then I went to see another one for his opinion and sure enough I had an incisional hernia. Of course it is rare in people of my age and in my health. As the doctor said "it is mysterious how people even get them when there was no infection". Leave up to me! :-) Seems to be my luck this past year! Needless to say last week was a whirlwind. I saw the doctor Monday and had my surgery Wednesday. All went well, the surgery itself took a little longer because things weren't healed from my last surgery. Each day is a better one! Hopefully one day real soon both the computer and I will be up and running! Thanks to our many wonderful friends and family for yummy meals and beautiful flowers! Have a great one!
