August Adoption Update

We received our official email update from our agency last night. China matched families who were logged into their system through November 21, 2005. As a reminder our log in date is January 24, 2006. As a result the following is what our agency Bethany Christian Services had to say... "The current wait time from LID to referral is approximately 22-23 months… and painfully, it continues to increase. The time frame continues to increase because so many families from around the world submitted dossiers in 2005 and 2006 while the number of “paper-ready” orphans in China is not increasing, therefore, creating an imbalance. CCAA has also been successfully promoting domestic adoption, within China." So, we continue to try and patiently wait!
