Happy Chinese New Year! Well, it's been a very long time since our blog has been updated! Not much has happened in the last month. Brent and I had a nasty virus that lasted about 2 weeks. Not fun at all. Thankfully Benjamin has stayed healthly! We painted our kitchen. I'll post those pics later this week. Benjamin is doing well in school and enjoying it. He is really hoping for some snow, something we haven't seen much of here!
Adoption update--China has matched families with LID (log in date) through December 27,2005. Remember we are January 24, 2006. If they would keep on the same pace they have been we could see a referral in June, however we are praying for one sooner. Our prayer is that we receive our referral and can be home before the Olympics. They begin on August 8th in Beijing, China. We would appreciate your prayers for this as well!

It has some fun facts and info on the Chinese New Year. There are a lot of traditions, feasts, and time with family to celebrate. We celebrated so far by going out as a family for a Chinese dinner. We are looking forward to a celebration with my family (unfortunately my family was sick this past Friday night so we are rescheduling) sometime soon.
Thanks again for all your support and prayers as we continue to wait on God's timing for our daughter! We can't wait for the day when we can meet her as well as many of you!

Yay! As always we are praying for you. So fun to "see" you tonight on Skype. I'd love to see pics of your "new" kitchen! Please post soon! Do you have your UL words up yet? I want a pic of those too when you do put them up! =)
