Well here we are…The night before our trip to China. It still hasn’t sunk in yet! I mean the suitcases are packed along with our backpacks, but still! It has been such a long journey and to finally be here…Wow! God has been so faithful! The pics from this post are in Alissa’s room. Hopefully you can see some of it. Check out the UL letters! Thanks Bradi! Tomorrow morning we fly out of Harrisburg, PA. We’ll stop in Detroit, MI were we’ll have a connecting flight to Tokyo, Japan. From there we’ll fly into Beijing. We are expected to arrive in Beijing at 9:30 pm Friday the 12th. We are planning on posting to our blog while in China to keep everyone up to date with our journey and see pics of Alissa of course! So with that said, post your comments, we would love to read them! Thanks to all our families and friends (and friends of family and friends)for all your prayers and support. We greatly appreciate them! We leave feeling so blessed. Well, I need to try and get some sleep. That’s all for now from PA…Our next post will be from CHINA! Alissa here we come!!!

Hope this message finds you safe in China. We are looking forward to traveling along with you! The sight is awesome and we are enjoying reading all about the trip. How has Brent handled the flights so far? (remenber my advice Brent) The next few days will be filled with so much excitement and anticipation! Take it all in and enjoy each and every moment. Praying for your safe arrival and smooth travels - I thought of you when we were both in the air today and couldn't help but be in awe of all that God has created and how He created you guys for this very moment to be traveling to pick up Alissa and give her a loving home and to show her His love for her. Ok Kris - I know we said no more tears - anyhow - blessings..I'll be following along for the next few days from Jamaica and then at home..can't wait to hear how its going!

Our thoughts and prayers were with you so much yesterday. And still this morning knowing that you haven't been to bed yet. We sure hope those money belts are working out OK! :) We are anxiously awaiting blog updates and pictures. Brendan wants to see Benjamin on the great wall. We still can't believe that you are IN CHINA. After all those years!!! Sleep well...and good luck staying awake for the acrobats!
